Class A CDL Program
TMC's in-house CDL Training is a three-week program that educates you in all the basics required to obtain a Class A license.

New drivers can earn up to $100,000 per year.

You will receive paid orientation and training with one of our certified flatbed driver trainers.

Training facilities are located in Des Moines, Iowa, and Columbia, South Carolina.

We provide transportation to training, lodging during training, and some of your meals.

We offer guaranteed job placement at TMC upon the completion of the program via our value/exchange philosophy.
Inexperienced Class A Drivers
If you are already enrolled in a CDL training program and are interested in joining our team after you graduate, our Student Driver (Apprentice) Training Program is recognized as one of the best in the country.

Orientation is two weeks at one of our training facilities followed by four weeks over-the-road (OTR) with a driver trainer.

Orientation and OTR training are both paid.

We provide transportation to training, lodging during training, and some of your meals.

You may be eligible for CDL school tuition reimbursement.

We know home time matters, and we will try to pair you with a trainer that lives within 150 miles of you so you can enjoy weekends at home during training.

Experienced Class A Drivers
Our Experienced Driver Orientation Program puts you with other experienced drivers for an accelerated orientation and training period—just three to five days, depending upon your experience level. If you have limited or no flatbed experience, we will set you up with a driver trainer to learn the ropes of flatbedding. All orientation and time with a driver trainer is paid.
